What you need for DTF printing

DTF (Direct to Film) is a technology in which the image is printed not on fabric but on a special film. Adhesive powder is then applied to the wet ink, cured with heat, and the design is transferred to the garment with a heat press. Its main advantage is versatility: DTF suits cotton, blended fabrics, black and coloured T-shirts, hoodies and bags, not only polyester as classic sublimation does. That is why DTF often complements sublimation in workshops that work with textiles. It is handy when customers order both mugs and T-shirts: the former are made by sublimation, the latter by DTF.

What is in this section

• DTF ink, 1 litre. Five colours: CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW, BLACK and WHITE. Each bottle costs 1,797.40 UAH. The white layer forms an underbase that keeps colours vivid on dark fabric.
• DTF powder adhesive. Applied to the wet ink and cured, it bonds the design to the fabric. Price: 649.92 UAH.
• DTF film, 30 cm wide. The base the image is printed on. Price: 2,500.02 UAH.

Usage tips

White pigment ink tends to settle, so it needs regular shaking and you should follow the printer manufacturer's guidance on printhead maintenance. Store ink in a closed container away from direct sunlight. Before a large run, make a test print to check colour, film width and how your printer works with these materials.

If you are looking for DTF film, match its width with your printer: the film in this section is 30 cm wide. For UV DTF film, ask our manager: it is a separate technology that uses UV ink, while this section contains materials for standard DTF printing.
