What sublimation printing equipment consists of

To start sublimation you need several elements: a printer with sublimation ink, paper, a heat press and blanks with a polymer coating. The central machine is the heat press: it presses the paper with a mirror-printed image against the product and holds a temperature of about 180–200 °C while the ink turns to gas and bonds with the coating. Types of heat presses and how to choose

  • Mug presses. The simplest start, for example the CE-01 mug press from 3,299.45 UAH. It suits ceramic mugs, and interchangeable heating elements for different volumes are sold for it.
  • Thermos and bottle presses. A separate model such as the CE-6 is designed for thermoses and cylindrical metal products.

  • Cap presses. A small platen (for example 8*15 cm) designed for caps.
