What a 3D vacuum heat press is

A 3D vacuum heat press is sublimation equipment that transfers an image onto curved and three-dimensional surfaces. In an ordinary flat press the paper lies only on a straight part of the product. In a vacuum press an elastic membrane covers the blank, a pump removes the air, and the paper with the design hugs every curve. When heated, the ink turns into gas and bonds with the polymer coating, so the image covers the whole surface with no white gaps at the edges.

Depending on the size of the working chamber, you can sometimes process several small items at once, which speeds up batch production. For regular orders of phone cases and souvenirs with a curved surface, a vacuum press is practically the only way to get a continuous image with no gaps.

How a vacuum press for 3D sublimation works

The principle is simple: paper with a mirror-printed image is fixed to the blank with heat-resistant tape, the item (for a phone case, together with its tooling) is placed in the chamber, the chamber is closed and temperature and time are set on the control panel. The vacuum pump tightens the membrane, the paper presses against the surface and the transfer takes place. The settings depend on the blank material, so it is worth finding them once and saving them.

The ST-1520 costs 16,054.05 UAH and the ST-3042 costs 24,836.80 UAH. Before choosing, decide which products you will print and what blank sizes you need, since that determines whether the working chamber is big enough.
