Sublimation T-shirts: what they are and what they are made of

A sublimation T-shirt is a blank prepared for transferring an image with sublimation ink and a heat press. The key factor is the fabric: sublimation dye bonds firmly only with polyester, so the higher the polyester content, the brighter and more durable the print. On a white polyester shirt the colours come out saturated, the design cannot be felt by hand and does not crack in the wash. For cotton garments a different technology works better — DTF printing, which we also explain to customers.

The shirt is pressed at roughly 180–200 °C while the design is printed in mirror image on sublimation paper. So choosing a shirt for sublimation is not only about size and colour but also about fabric type.

Types of T-shirts in the catalogue

This section holds 60 items priced from 115.20 to 250 UAH depending on size and model. The range is divided into subsections:

• jersey T-shirts for men, women and children — light and stretchy, comfortable for everyday wear;
• two-layer T-shirts for men, women and children — usually a polyester outer layer that takes the print and a softer inner layer against the skin;
• oversize shirts for sublimation printing — a relaxed, fashionable cut.

Kids' two-layer T-shirts come in sizes 86–170, priced roughly from 147 to 178 UAH depending on height.

How to pick the size

Use the size chart. For men's shirts: S is 48 cm wide and 70 cm long; M is 50 by 70 cm; L is 52 by 70 cm; XL is 55 by 74 cm; up to 4XL (67×80 cm). For women's: S is 43×60 cm, M 45×62 cm, L 47×64 cm, XL 49×66 cm, up to 4XL (57×70 cm). When buying wholesale for a team or an event, take a few neighbouring sizes as a reserve so you can avoid reprinting.

T-shirts are bought by print studios, merchandise workshops, sports clubs, schools, corporate customers and event organisers. Typical orders include team kits, shirts with a company logo, family sets with photos, and gifts for birthdays and graduations.
