Pillows for Sublimation

Sublimation pillows: types and differences

Sublimation pillows are textile blanks whose fabric accepts a transferred photo, slogan or logo. The catalogue has 50 items of different shapes and textures: square, round and heart-shaped, made of plush, satin, gabardine and sequin fabric. These pillow covers for sublimation suit gifts and the decoration of offices, hotels, cafés and car showrooms. Printing requires fabric with a high polyester content, which is why special blanks give a vivid picture, while ordinary cotton pillowcases do not.

How to choose sublimation pillows

• Satin. Smooth, shiny fabric that reproduces fine details and rich colours best. A 35x35 cm pillow costs 115.61 UAH, 45x45 cm costs 133.99 UAH, and the heart costs 133.99 UAH.
• Plush. A soft, pile material that feels pleasant to the touch. A round pillow of 35 cm diameter costs 140.12 UAH, the plush heart 179.74 UAH, and a 45x45 cm plush pillow 175.66 UAH.
• Gabardine. A dense fabric, practical for everyday use, which holds its shape well.
• Sequins. A 40x40 cm pillow with sequins in silver, gold, red, purple, pink, blue or black. It costs 219.77 UAH, and the heart with green sequins costs 249.59 UAH.
• Pearl. A 40x40 cm pillow with a pearl effect for original gifts.

The size of the pillow determines the size of the heat press: flat items need a flat press large enough for the whole surface. The design is printed as a mirror image on sublimation paper and transferred at about 180-200 °C, while the dwell time and pressure depend on the fabric. The colour of the blank affects the result: bright images come out on white and light fabrics.

What you can make with pillows

For children's shops, prints with characters and animals are popular; for floral studios, flower patterns. Car showrooms and hotels order pillows with a logo, companies give them to staff, and photo studios offer pillows with family pictures. A heart pillow with a message is a classic gift for Valentine's Day.
